Nuclear Engineering is concerned with the release, control, and use of all aspects of energy from nuclear sources.  This field utilizes all of the conventional branches of Engineering.  Nuclear Engineers design and help operate nuclear power plants, maintain technical surveillance over the operation of the nuclear reactor core, and create criteria for the handling of nuclear fuel.
