Environmental Engineering is an interdisciplinary field that combines Agricultural, Chemical, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering concepts into a whole. Environmental Engineers design and develop water distribution systems, recycling methods, sewage treatment plants, pollution prevention, and control systems for air, land, and water. Environmental Engineers constantly seek new ways to reduce air pollution and pesticide use.
